Rhomboidal Structure

"Rhomboidal Structure" is an experiment in perspective. I borrowed elements from an earlier drawing called "Labyrinth" and created a mirror image with vanishing points on the left and right and top and bottom of the canvas. The drawing is meant to convey the idea of an infinitely large structure. I used four Rapidograph .25 mm pens filled with Kohinoor Trans Mix Media ink to create this drawing. The original is 14" x 17". The original drawing took about 150 hours to complete. I used traditional drafting instruments to create the design in pencil and  then drew over the design in ink freehand.
